The BELOIT AUTORAMA has grown from it's first show in 1977 with 130 show
cars to become one of the largest automotive one day events in the Midwest.
Over 1000 cars in the classes of Street Rod, Custom, Corvette, Antique,
Classic, Truck, 55-64 full size Chevrolets, Street Machine, Muscle Car, and Imports are expected at this years show. The cars in each class are parked as a group together so people attending the show can see their favorite vintage vehicles in the same area. The parts swap, flea market and arts and craft area feature over 250 vendor spaces where that special car part or collectible item can be found. Also, the car corral area features over 120 classic and performance cars which are for sale. The DJ "3D Sound" will provide music during the show. Special hand crafted clock trophies are the highlight of the show and presented to all car classes. These works of art are not seen at any other car shows and are prized possessions of the show car people. A value of many thousands of dollars would have to be put on the trophies if they were to be purchased. Concession stands in the park will have bratwurst, hamburgers, and hot dogs cooked over an open fire, along with cold beer and soft drinks.
Show Mission:
The BELOIT AUTORAMA is a fund raising project for the Beloit Evening Lions Club. The Coachmen Street
Rodders and Blue Ribbon Classic Chevy Club members completely donate their time and efforts in helping to present the show. Over
$1,000,000 has been raised from the past forty six Autorama shows. The Lions Club has donated these proceeds to the Lions Club International Foundation, The Wisconsin Lions Club Foundation which supports The Wisconsin Lions Camp for use by the visually handicapped, Merrill Community Center, Beloit Boys & Girls Club, Meals on Wheels, Caritas, Easter Seals Camp, Hospice and other community projects.
